The Institution
Eminent politician, socialist and a true well-wisher of the down trodden Late Sri Heera Lal Yadav (1931-1995) truly sensed with the depth of his heart, the need to strengthen women education in our society. He was a strong supporter of the view that only an educated girl can give us an educated society & an educated nation.
These ideas of Late Sri Heera Lal Yadav were move forwarded by his two sons former M.L.A. honorable Sri Shyam Kishore Yadav & Sri. Kunwar Ram Singh . The concrete shape to his dreams was given by esatblishing the Heera Lal Yadav
Balika Inter College in1996 at Gauri Village,
Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow. The college brought educational opportunities for the girls
at their doorsteps, no doubt the college
was able to raise the educational status of
girls of the area.
Their progressive ideas were eager to
touch new skies and evidence was before us in the shape of Heera Lal Yadav Balika Degree
College in 2001 . The Heera Lal Yadav Balika Degree College
opened the door of higher education for the girls
of rural areas. The college is giving graduation
degree in following subjects-Hindi, English,
Sanskrit, History, Pol.Science, Education,
Economics, Sociology and Home Science.The institute gained new heights when
Department of teacher education was established
in 2004.
In 2005 Heera Lal Yadav Law College was also established at different campus. The Heera Lal
Yadav Law College was established to
raise the quality of legal education and to
meet the challenges of the present time. The main goal of the institute is not only to
raise the educational status of the students
but also to develop professional efficiency and
to inculcate in them the human values.
Vision of the institute
The vision of Heeralal yadav Girls Degree College is to promote literacy, awareness and professional skills among the girls of rural area. It not only tries to impart education to the girls but also to enhance their practical and professional skills. The girls are provided with the congenial atmosphere for the development of their personal talent and socially accepted values.
